G’day and welcome to Starfish Retreat, our cozy and private Airbnb getaway in beautiful Kalbarri! We’re Steve and Linley, long-time locals with over 28 years of experience in the accommodation industry—from managing and co-owning a resort to now running our own slice of paradise here in town.


Starfish Retreat is designed exclusively for couples looking for a peaceful escape.

Starfish Retreat is perfectly located at the southern end of Kalbarri, right across from the Kalbarri National Park.

Wake up to kangaroos and emus just outside your doorstep, and if you’re here in wildflower season, the national park bursts into colour with stunning native blooms.

We’ve called Kalbarri home for many years and love sharing its natural beauty with guests.

Whether you’re here for the beaches, the hikes, or just some well-deserved relaxation, we’re always happy to help with local tips and recommendations.


When we’re not hosting, you’ll probably find us hanging out with our beloved cats 🐾 or following the Supercars circuit—we’ve been lucky enough to attend events in Darwin and Adelaide, and we’re hoping to add more to the list!
